What you will study

The curriculum builds your knowledge step by step, starting with the fundamentals and progressing to more specialised business topics.

In the first year, you will explore management and marketing while developing foundations in mathematics, business law, computer science and economics. You will also begin building your professional English skills and learn how information systems and business software support organisational work.

The second year develops your understanding of economics, finance, data and people at work. Subjects include macroeconomics, financial mathematics, accounting, data management, statistics, personnel management and project management. You will also develop entrepreneurial skills and learn to use data analysis in management.

In the final year, you will apply what you have learned to international business, financial reporting, entrepreneurship and current management challenges. The study plan includes topics such as innovative solutions and artificial intelligence in management, controlling, ethical and legal aspects of marketing, operations and logistics, sales techniques, agile IT project management and soft skills.

Across the programme, you will connect ideas from different areas of business: from understanding markets and managing people to working with financial information, data and projects.

Learning for today’s organisations

Management is a practical discipline, and the programme brings together the analytical and interpersonal skills that organisations need. You will develop your ability to interpret business information, understand economic conditions, communicate ideas and work through business problems.

The curriculum also reflects changes in the business environment. Courses in data management, data analysis, modern marketing, artificial intelligence in management and agile IT project management introduce topics that are increasingly relevant to contemporary organisations.

International study and opportunities

Studying in English gives you experience communicating about business in an international language and prepares you to continue your studies or pursue opportunities in an international environment. The Faculty supports student mobility, including Erasmus+ opportunities, allowing students to gain experience at partner institutions abroad.

Bratislava offers a central location in Europe and a lively setting for student life. The city is well connected to nearby European capitals, while Slovakia provides opportunities to explore a new culture and region during your studies.

Career opportunities

Graduates can pursue entry-level roles in a range of business functions, depending on their interests and experience. These may include marketing, sales, human resources, finance, accounting, business analysis, project coordination, operations or administration. The programme also provides a foundation for students who wish to continue to a master’s degree or explore entrepreneurship.
