Documents Needed for Application

The Faculty of Management offers three English-taught programmes to international applicants: the Bachelor’s programme in Management (Am21), the Master’s programme in Management (AMN21) and the Master’s Double Degree programme in Management and International Commerce (BMN24). Each programme has its own entry requirements and selection process.

Apply through the Application Portal – AiS2 ePrihlas – UK. Create an account, select your chosen study programme as seen below and submit your application with the required documents.

Upload:

- a curriculum vitae in English;

- a motivation letter in English;

- a copy of your passport or national ID;

- proof that you have paid the application fee.

Your application is complete only after you have submitted it in the portal with all mandatory attachments and paid the application fee.

Payment instructions are generated by the portal for the applicable fee and must by paid by the deadline.

Bachelor’s programme in Management (Am21)

In addition to the documents required for all applicants, prepare documents relating to your secondary education. These may include your school-leaving certificate and transcript. If your final certificate is not yet available when you apply, follow the instructions in the current admission notice about submitting it later.

Applicants take part in an admission interview. The interview assesses their motivation and readiness for study, including their English and mathematical knowledge. Meeting the minimum pass threshold does not by itself guarantee admission; places may be awarded according to the ranking and the programme’s capacity.

If your secondary education was completed outside Slovakia, you will also need to have it officially recognised. Recognition may take time, so start the process early. The faculty will explain when and how to submit the required recognition documents.

Master’s programme in Management (AMN21)

In addition to the documents required for all applicants, prepare your Bachelor’s diploma and academic transcript. If these documents were issued outside Slovakia, you will need to complete the applicable recognition procedure and submit the required certified documents.

Applicants take part in a motivational interview. Admission depends on the result of the selection process and the number of places available.

Master’s Double Degree in Management and International Commerce (BMN24)

The Double Degree is offered in English by Comenius University Bratislava and the University of Bordeaux. Applicants should hold, or be completing, a Bachelor’s degree in Management or a related field and demonstrate proficiency in English.

In addition to the documents required for all applicants, prepare your Bachelor’s diploma and academic transcript. You may also submit proof of English-language proficiency and recommendation letters, if available. Documents issued outside Slovakia must undergo the applicable recognition procedure.

The selection process includes an interview involving both universities. The admission committee makes the final selection.

Recognition of previous education

Recognition requirements depend on where you completed your previous education and which programme you are applying for. Recognition of secondary education is required for Bachelor’s applicants; recognition of higher education qualifications is required for Master’s applicants. A conditional admission decision may be issued while recognition is pending, but you must submit the required recognition documents to complete admission and enrol.

Recognition can take several weeks or longer, particularly during the summer. Begin the process as soon as possible and follow the instructions for certified copies and translations.
