Study plan

The study plan and its structure for the management program derive from the fundamental characteristics of a graduate in the field of Economics and Management.

The program aligns with the vision and mission of FM UK and the objectives outlined in the Long-term Plan of the Faculty of Management, UK for the years 2021 to 2027. Its content orientation respects the intentions of development trends in similarly focused study programs in Europe and globally, considering its appeal to bachelor's program graduates.

The program was crafted in line with the needs of the business sector and the "enhancing the performance of higher education institutions" component within the Resilience and Recovery Plan of the Slovak Republic. Thus, a primary consideration in designing the program's educational activities (subjects) was the applicability of knowledge and competencies in the business practice.

The profile subjects of the study program are designed to ensure that students acquire the necessary knowledge, skills, competencies, and transferable abilities essential for their job and profession. These subjects provide theoretical and methodological foundations in the relevant educational area and form a significant part of the thematic circles of the state final examination. In combination with other educational activities offered to students, they provide access to knowledge, skills, competencies, and transferable abilities crucial for achieving educational outcomes in the graduate profile and their personal and professional development.
