Eva Brestovanská

Mgr. Eva Brestovanská, PhD.

Mgr. Eva Brestovanská, PhD. is a graduate of the Faculty of Mathematics, Physics and Mathematics, Comenius University in Bratislava. She obtained her PhD degree at the Faculty of Management at Comenius University in Bratislava, where she worked at the departments of Department of IT Sciences,  Department of Economy and Finances and Department of International Management. She is currently working at the Department of International Management. She teaches statistics and mathematics as part of her teaching activities. She has published scientific papers on economic time series modelling, forecasting of development, application of cointegration and correlation analysis. Recently, she has published papers on economic models on so-called time scales. The main results in this direction are Solow-type growth economic models on time scales, which are a unification of the discrete and continuous versions of the classical Solow growth model. A number of papers published recently concern dynamical systems based on the so-called fractional calculus, which is a generalization of the classical differential calculus theory.
