Beenish Qamar
Dr. Beenish Qamar is currently serving as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Management, Faculty of Management, Comenius University Bratislava. She holds a Ph.D. in Business Administration with a specialization in Organizational Behavior. She has presented her research at prestigious international conferences, including the Academy of Management Conference and the Academy of Human Resource Development, and has published in several peer-reviewed journals.
During her Ph.D., she was selected as an IRSIP Fellow at the University of California, Irvine, USA, where she worked on her dissertation under the supervision of a distinguished professor of management. She was also awarded a ten-month research and teaching fellowship at the Comenius University Bratislava, under the National Scholarship Program of Slovakia, funded by the European Union and the Slovak Ministry of Education.
Her research interests include leadership, self-concept, workplace wellbeing, power and politics, and social influence dynamics in organizational settings. She teaches the courses Management I, Management II and Personnel Management.
