Marek Hlásny

Mgr. Marek Hlásny is a PhD candidate at the Department of Information Management and Business Systems, Faculty of Management, Comenius University Bratislava. He specializes in the intersection of information technologies and management. His research focuses on the application of modern technologies in managerial decision-making.

He has served as both principal investigator and co-investigator of several international research projects. Many of these projects have been successfully completed and were funded through university grant schemes as well as inter-university cooperation programmes.

Within his teaching activities, he delivers courses in:

• Information Systems Management
• E-shop Development, Promotion and Management

He is a co-author of scientific publications indexed in the Web of Science database. He has received six citations in the Web of Science and Scopus databases, and currently has 14 citations on Google Scholar.

His doctoral dissertation focuses on the digital era and the competency profile of employees in the IT sector.
