Easter Egg Painting Workshop at FM UK
The workshop offered participants a unique opportunity to learn about Slovak Easter traditions and to try out various egg-decorating techniques under expert guidance.
In the pre-Easter period, a creative Easter Egg Painting Workshop took place at the Faculty of Management of Comenius University in Bratislava. The event was intended for international students within the Erasmus+ program, as well as for students of the English-taught program at FM UK. It was funded by the Development Project of the Ministry of Education, Science, Research and Sport of the Slovak Republic – Intercultural Communication and Integration at CU.
The workshop offered participants a unique opportunity to learn about Slovak Easter traditions and to try out various egg-decorating techniques under expert guidance.
Alongside the creative activities, students learned about the origins of egg-decorating traditions and the symbolism behind the kraslice – the arrival of spring, new life, and the joy of the holidays.
The aim of the event was not only to introduce Slovak culture to international students but also to support intercultural communication, mutual understanding, and integration in the academic environment.
