The Faculty of Management recently welcomed an international academic visitor from Rajagiri College of Social Sciences, Kochi, India.

Our faculty had the pleasure of hosting Dr. Anu Antony, who participated in several professional meetings with faculty members, including Associate Professor Copuš, Dr. Papíková and Dr. Gažová. The meetings focused on discussions regarding opportunities for scientific and research cooperation, internationalization, and the exchange of academic experience between European and Asian educational environments.

An important part of the visit also included expert consultations aimed at future joint research in the area of comparative analysis of emerging and developed markets in the context of corporate finance and corporate governance. Particular attention was given to sharing best practices in curriculum design, integrating real-world business challenges into teaching, and exploring opportunities for joint programmes and student mobility in dynamically evolving disciplines.

As part of her stay, Dr. Anu Antony also participated in teaching students enrolled in the English study programme within the course Principles of Financial Accounting, where she introduced students to a practical approach to analysing and interpreting information contained in corporate annual reports. The lecture provided students with valuable international perspectives and broadened their practical knowledge in the field of financial reporting.

Further strengthening international cooperation, Dr. Gažová will participate in the International Teaching Week at Rajagiri Business School, Kochi, India, taking place from 22 to 27 June, 2026. Her participation will contribute to the exchange of teaching practices, enhance academic collaboration, and support the development of international partnerships in education and research.

The visit represents another important step in strengthening the international cooperation activities of the Faculty of Management and supports the development of new research partnerships in the fields of finance, corporate governance, and analytics.
