Emilia Charfaoui

Doc. Mgr. Emília Charfaoui, CSc. has been working at Faculty of management at Comenius University since 2000. She is engaged in research and analysis of professional economic texts from both linguistic and translatological point of view. She focuses her attention on teaching professional language within the study programme of International Management, especially on seminars in foreign language, which inevitably requires participating in research activities and actively using the acquired skills and habits of working with professional text in practice. She is engaged in the analysis of professional texts in the field of economics and management. Most of the work focuses on the appropriate use of language in specific communicative situations in the field of management and intercultural communication. She actively cooperating with both domestic and foreign leading experts in this field. As a principal investigator and co-investigator she has participated in several KEGA projects.

Professional focus - linguistics - German and Russian language with a focus on lexicology, business German and Russian, intercultural communication and management skills.
