Analysis of the impacts of restrictive measures and government aid associated with coronavirus on the financial health of small and medium-sized enterprises in Slovakia
Nowadays, significant amount of companies has been facing the largest economic challenges since their establishment. Economic life has been slowing down due to government restrictions bestowed upon these companies in order to limit spread of disease COVID-19 after adoption of emergency state. Fear of this disease combined with quarantine regulations have reduced consumer demand across service sector, throughout cultural and sport events, as well as in factories and transportation sector. Economic recession will eventually uncover hidden information about financial health of companies operating in Slovakia. The objective of submitted project is to analyse small and medium-sized enterprises (SME) and their financial health during economic recession caused by global pandemic restrictions. Project’s contribution will be development of several comprehensive models for financial health analysis of SMEs.
