Project JUST
„Joint University and Small and medium sized enterprises (SME) Training”
Project Number: 2021-1-SI01-KA220-HED-000029948
Webpage: https://just-training.eu
Duration of the project: 1.1. 2022 – 30.6. 2024

Project description
The aim of the project is to expand cooperation between higher education institutions and micro, small and medium-sized enterprises as a tool to implement the so-called "knowledge triangle", to strengthen innovation, to overcome the mismatch between supply and demand for entrepreneurial skills and to shorten the transfer between the world of education and work.
The JUST (Joint Training of Higher Education Institutions and SMEs) project aims to bridge the gap between the world of education and the world of work by bringing together universities, higher education institutions and micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) by creating coherent, relevant and up-to-date curricula using microcertificates.

To overcome the lack of functional mechanisms to facilitate interaction between HEIs and SMEs in the areas of co-teaching (development and delivery of training), on-the-job training and internships, the JUST project will develop innovative operational tools to enable HEIs to broker cooperation with SMEs. These tools will also enable SMEs to understand the value of collaboration with higher education institutions for developing the skills and competences of the future workforce.

The project foresees 4 main outputs:
Open Educational Tools Platform (OER platform)
A model for cooperation between universities and SMEs
Design of training tools
JUST implementation package.
