Prof. JUDr. Daniela Nováčková, PhD.

Prof. JUDr. Daniela Nováčková, PhD. is a Professor at the Comenius University Bratislava, Faculty of Management, where she teaches courses related to international trade, international economic law, the EU internal market and policies.
D. Nováčková is also the founder of the International Management Study Program and a long-term guarantor of this program. She was one of the active participants in the process of preparation of the Slovak Republic for the membership in the European Union and actively participated in the transposition of EC/EU directives into Slovak legal acts under the purview of the Ministry of Finance of the Slovak Republic. During this process, she realized several internships in the EU institutions (Luxemburg, Brussels). She is a co-author of several Slovak legal acts, including the State Aid Act (Act No 231/1999 Coll.).
She applied her theoretical experience in the field of international contract law to the negotiation, conclusion and amendment of bilateral investment agreements. She proved her expertise in the field of European law and European affairs by passing an exam at the Ministry of Justice of the Slovak Republic, where she was also appointed in 2003 as the first authorized expert in the field of Legal relations with foreigners - European law. In applied practice, she focuses on the issue of state aid and international investment law.
As a DAAD scholarship holder, she carried out several long-term studies and lecture stays at universities in Halle, Bremen. She also carried out study stays at universities in Vienna, Graz and Salzburg. She is a co-founder of the Slovak Association of European Studies, n.o. and the Slovak Academy of Management, n.o. In addition to educational activities at the Faculty of Management of the Comenius University in Bratislava, she also provides education for seniors at the University of the Third Age at the Comenius University in Bratislava. She has published 186 scientific studies and books and her 421 citations are registered for her scientific works (WOS and SCOPUS 134).

She is a successful author and a project manager of several projects financed from the financial resources of the European Union, which were realized at the Comenius University in Bratislava at the Faculty of Management in past 5 years.
