Tomáš Peráček
doc. JUDr. PhDr. Tomáš Peráček, PhD.
Graduate of the Faculty of Law of the Comenius University in Bratislava. Since graduating from this faculty in 2006, he has worked as a trainee lawyer. In 2009, he successfully passed the bar exam of the Slovak Bar Association with the evaluation "passed excellent", on the basis of which, since 1 January 2010, he practiced his own law practice. As part of further professional education, he completed in 2016 Adaptation training organized by the Judicial Academy of the Slovak Republic necessary for the performance of the function of the judge. In December 2007, he successfully vindicated a rigorous thesis on the topic of "Constitutional Complaints" and passed a rigorous examination in the field of "law", on the basis of which he was awarded the title of "Doctor of Laws" (JUDr.).
He completed his full-time doctoral studies at the Faculty of Law of Comenius University in Bratislava in the field of "Theory and history of the state and law," by defending his dissertation on "Justice and equitable access to information," he was awarded the academic title „philosophiae doctor“(PhD.).
Already during his doctoral studies at the Faculty of Law of Comenius University in Bratislava, he was actively involved in scientific research as a co-investigator of a scientific grant - VEGA [1/4631/07] "Normative analysis of the institute of legislature".
In the position of responsible grant solver VEIGA [3/2018] "The importance and position of the personal companies in Slovak commercial law and selected problems of their management" and VEIGA [8/2020] "Current perspectives and tasks of public administration management in the electronic delivery and protection of cyber continued to solve grant tasks and guaranteed their successful completion.
From 2019 to 2021, he was the deputy responsible researcher of the successfully completed VEGA grant [1/0813/19] "Management of the development of innovative and start-up forms of business in the international business environment and verification of the INMARK concept".
At present, in the position of the co-investigator, he actively participates in solving current scientific issues within the framework of APVV grants [19-0502] "Effective Land Adjustment"; APVV [18-0534] "Legislation on Spent Nuclear Fuel Management", VEGA [1/0757/20] "Means of direct democracy in the conditions of the smart cities and municipalities"; VEGA [1/0320/21] "The role of the universities in building the knowledge economy".
His pedagogical activities began at the Faculty of Management of the Comenius University in Bratislava, since the academic year 2011/2012 he worked as an assistant professor at the Department of Information Systems, providing teaching of Business Law, Labor Law, Securities Law, State Theory and Law and Law of information and communication technologies. He taught subjects corresponding not only to the topics of supervised bachelor's, master's or dissertation theses, but also to university textbooks, of which he is the author, resp. co-author.
In 2015, he passed a rigorous examination in the field of "management" at the Faculty of Management of Comenius University in Bratislava and was awarded the academic title of "Doctor of Philosophy" (PhDr.). Subsequently, in 2016, he successfully habilitated at the Faculty of Management of the Comenius University in Bratislava and was awarded the scientific-pedagogical title of "associate professor" (doc.) in the field of "management", followed by the position of the associate professor. He currently works at the Department of Information Systems, Faculty of Management, Comenius University Bratislava as a professor. He is a member of the Academic Senate and the Scientific Board of the Faculty of Management of the Comenius University Bratislava.
As part of his scientific research activities, he focuses mainly on the legislative side of the issues of securities, business, trading companies and employment. He is the author and co-author of more than 150 scientific articles and works, of which eighty are registered in the world's scientific databases such as Web of Science and Scopus, including twenty-one articles in foreign database journals. Dozens of foreign responses in WoS and Scopus, as well as invited reviews of articles published in journals registered in these scientific databases, show not only domestic but especially international recognition of his research activities.
Building one's own science school in the field of "economics and management" is reflected in the successfully defended dissertations of three doctoral students. He currently coaches six doctoral students in this field.
As a part of cooperation, not only with domestic but also foreign universities, he completed several study stays and gave two domestic and three requested lectures abroad. As an invited opponent and member of the habilitation commission, he contributed to the qualification growth of other university teachers in the field of "Public Policy and Public Administration" at the Faculty of Social Sciences of the University of St. Cyril and Methodius in Trnava.
