Martin Vozár

Mgr. Martin Vozár, PhD.

Mgr. Martin Vozar, PhD. is a graduate of bachelor's, master's and doctoral studies at the Faculty of Management, Comenius University. In 2003, he graduated from Ghent University as part of the Erasmus program. He defended his dissertation in 2005 on the topic of Mergers & Acquisitions. He has been working at the Department of Economics and Finance for a long time, where he teaches financial subjects, especially Financial Management and Corporate Valuation, mainly for students of the Erasmus program and the English program. He has long-term experience in leading financial courses with a focus on Corporate Finance at foreign MBA programs (Automotive-MBA for Vienna University of Technology and WEMBA for Webster University).

In his research, he focuses on asset valuation, portfolio management, financial analysis of companies and macroeconomic topics. In 2010, 2012 and 2013, he completed foreign teaching stays in several EU countries. He is an occasional contributor to Slovak economic periodicals and is among the longest continuous users of the Bloomberg Professional Terminal financial system in Slovakia. In 2022, he was awarded by the rector of the Comenius University for his extraordinary teaching activity and qualified expertise.
