These inspections will be carried out randomly across all rooms and units in the Manželské internáty, Štúrak and Átriové domky. As a reminder, under the self-cleaning system, the following is required: ·        Daily: Take out the trash, keep your room, balcony, and common areas clean, and maintain hygiene facilities (sinks, showers, toilets), as well as the stove. ·        Weekly: Thoroughly clean your room, sweep, dust, and mop the floors. ·        Monthly: Clean the fridge and the area underneath it. ·        Every 3 months: Defrost the freezer, if you have one. Please also remember to regularly change your bed linens. If you are not using a duvet or pillow, store them in a plastic bag to protect them from dirt and keep them in your room.     Two-lifetime model for the cuprates reimagined
    Abstract:
    We propose a two-lifetime phenomenological model of the superconducting state of the cuprates, and we show that it explains several salient low-energy features of the measured angle-resolved photoemission spectroscopy (ARPES) spectra. The model enables discrimination between forward- and large-angle scattering and, in addition, gives access to the magnitude of the gap function away from the Fermi surface. Note: I will try to do things in the simplest way possible. One can expect a lot of figures, maybe a bit of fun. Bring coffee, please, so you can enjoy it :). The lecture, which began at 9:00 a.m., was organised by the Faculty in cooperation with the U.S. Embassy in Slovakia. It focused on the pressing issue of human trafficking and its criminal prosecution and attracted considerable interest among students. Mr. Mango’s visit provided students with a valuable opportunity to gain first-hand insights into the practical experience of U.S. federal prosecutors and deepen their understanding of the international dimensions of combating serious crime.

The conference will take place on 24 November 2026 from 08:30 in the Amphitheatre of the Faculty of Law, Šafárikovo námestie 6, Bratislava. The conference will focus on detecting and sanctioning VAT-related tax offences from the perspectives of tax law and criminal law. It will also explore the potential application of restorative justice to tax crimes and provide a forum for the exchange of knowledge between academics and practitioners. The event is organised as part of the project VEGA No. 1/0633/25 – Restorative Justice Programmes. Participation is free of charge. The project will run from October 2026 to December 2027. The first event will take place October 21-23, 2026, at the Wrocław University of Economics and Business. The event will provide students from the V4 countries with an opportunity to take on a challenge proposed by QIAGEN related to preparing for entry into the job market and developing the skills needed to effectively showcase the competencies they have acquired during their studies. Students will also be supported by staff from partner universities, who will document the strengths and areas for improvement identified during the workshops. The results will later be included in the toolkit, which is one of the project’s outputs.
