Faculty Strengthens Partnership with HUC
Faculty of Management, Comenius University, Strengthens Partnership with Horizon University College in Ajman
In November 2025, the Dean of the Faculty of Management at Comenius University, Prof. Peter Štarchoň, together with the Vice-Dean for International Relations, Lucia Vilčeková, visited our long-standing partner institution, Horizon University College (HUC), in the United Arab Emirates.
During the official meeting, the FMUK delegation met with the President of HUC, Prof. Mohammad In’airat, as well as representatives of the university leadership and the International Relations Office. The discussions focused on strengthening cooperation in education, research, and academic mobility.
A key topic of the working session was also the upcoming AGRBP 2026 International Conference, which FMUK will host in Bratislava in cooperation with Horizon University College. Both institutions reaffirmed their commitment to further develop joint activities and support scientific cooperation between Europe and the Middle East region.
“Our partnership with Horizon University College is among our most active collaborations within KA171. The joint projects and the upcoming AGRBP conference are proof of our long-term and stable academic ties,” said Lucia Vilčeková.
Horizon University College also expressed interest in expanding cooperation in joint research projects and other initiatives, which will be the subject of ongoing discussions.
FMUK greatly values its long-term partnership with Horizon University College and looks forward to further joint activities.
