Summit Smart City 360° 

On January 18, 2023, under the leadership of prof. Mgr. Dagmar CAGÁŇOVÁ, PhD., Dean's representative for grant activities, Faculty of Management, Comenius University in Bratislava (FM UK in Bratislava) and Co-founder of the European Alliance for Innovation in Slovakia (EAI SK), the first strategic meeting was held in order to prepare the 10th EAI Summit Smart City 360° organized under the auspices of EAI SK and its president, prof. Imrich CHLAMTAC, in cooperation with FM UK. In addition to the abovementioned, the aim of the strategic meeting was networking of the experts from the domestic and international environment, identification of common research and project topics, as well as the focus on individual conferences within the EAI Summit Smart City 360°.

The strategic meeting was attended by H.E., Mr. David NAN-YANG LEE (Taipei Representative Office in Bratislava), H.E., Mr. Eduardo Ricardo GRADILONE NETO (Embassy of the Federative Republic of Brazil in Slovakia), and H.E., Mr. Eitan LEVON (Embassy of Israel in Slovakia), Honorary Consul of the Federative Republic of Brazil in Slovakia, Mgr. Daniel SAJTÁK, State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic, Mrs. Ing. Ingrid BROCKOVÁ, CSc., MIPP, representative of the American Embassy in Slovakia, M.A. Samuel MIŠÍK, presidents of the Bratislava and Trnava self-governing regions, Mgr. Juraj DROBA, MBA, MA and Mgr. Jozef VISKUPIČ, city representatives, Mayor of Dunajská Streda, JUDr. Zoltán HÁJOS, Vice-mayor of the Trnava city, PhDr. Eva NEMČOVSKÁ, PhD, MPH., Vice-mayor of the City District of Bratislava-Staré Mesto, Ing. Petr SKALNÍK, 1. Deputy director of the Municipality Košice and Director of Strategic Development Department, Ing. Richard DLHÝ, for the academic area Vice-rector for information technologies, UK in Bratislava, doc. RNDr. Michal GREGUŠ, Jr., PhD., and Vice-rector for international relations and marketing, University of Žilina in Žilina, prof. Ing. Jozef RISTVEJ, PhD., dean of FM UK in Bratislava, prof. RNDr. Michal GREGUŠ, senior, PhD., incoming dean of FM UK in Bratislava from March 1, 2023, prof. Mgr. Peter ŠTARCHOŇ, PhD., along with the deans of the Faculty of Pharmacy, UK in Bratislava, PharmDr. Ján KLIMAS, PhD. and the Dean of the Faculty of Mining, Ecology, Management and Geotechnologies, Technical University in Košice, Dr. h.c. prof. Ing. Michal CEHLÁR, PhD. The meeting was also attended by experts from industrial practice, directors of institutions, organizations and various departments, e.g. Ing. Peter BLAAS, Business Development Director at Antik Technology, s.r.o. and ANTIK Telecom s.r.o.

The 10th EAI Summit Smart City 360°, which will take place in October 2023, represents a unique opportunity for networking experts, government institutions, technological and research organizations in order to increase the quality of cities and municipalities citizens' life, not only in Slovakia, but also abroad, as well as a platform for sharing innovative solutions to Smart City challenges.
