ERASMUS Congress and Exhibition 2023 in Rome

On 26. - 30. 06. 2023, the Eracon Congress was held at the University of Rome "Tor Vergata" in Rome, which annually brings together Erasmus coordinators, Researchers and Professionals with an interest in the Erasmus Programme and belong either to the academic or business world.

Comenius University was represented by delegation consisting of faculty coordinators of the departments and the Rectorate itself.

The conference program attracted attention with current topics such as: women in technology, BIPs - Blended Mobility Intensive Programs and Erasmus without papers. The conference was opened with a ceremonial speech by Vito Borrell, Team Leader of the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Commission.

A nice part of the congress is also the ERASMUS Poster Design Competition organized during the congress and exhibition ERASMUS - ERACON 2023. The aim is to reward excellent student designs developed by higher education institutions for ERASMUS promotional purposes.

The poster proposal of student Katarína Brunovská - from Law Faculty of Comenius University won second place in a rich competition, for which we congratulate.

Our faculty gained new contacts and pre-negotiated the conclusion of many interesting contracts for the future Erasmus mobility of our students and staff.
At the end, the meeting at the airport with our student Veronika Gabcova returning from her Erasmus mobility from Rome was an unexpectedly pleasant end of the whole event.
