Collaboration with Bordeaux

Comenius University in Bratislava continues to deepen its exceptional relationship with the University of Bordeaux. As a proud member of the ENLIGHT consortium and with a long-standing institutional agreement at the rectorate level, our partnership has reached new heights.
Recently, Lucia Vilčeková (Comenius University) hosted Juliana Faye, Alberto Arbulu, and Jan Schaaper (University of Bordeaux) in Slovakia to finalize plans for a ground-breaking double degree program, set to launch in September 2025. Simultaneously, Doc. Copuš from the Department of Management participated in a teaching mobility program at the University of Bordeaux, France.
During his visit in October, Doc. Copuš delivered an eight-hour course over three days to 27 final-year master’s students from France, Italy, and Germany. The engaging sessions explored the European features of organizational cultures and were conducted in a vibrant and collaborative atmosphere. Remarkably, some of the students had previously participated in Erasmus exchanges at our faculty, further underscoring the strong connections between our universities.
This double degree program, a joint initiative of the University of Bordeaux and our faculty, exemplifies our commitment to fostering global learning opportunities. By offering students the chance to earn degrees from both universities, this collaboration promises unparalleled educational and career prospects.
