In 2017 NHH offers three different summer courses, two graduate level courses and one undergraduate course:
ELE11: Intercultural Communication: a Nordic Perspective, 6 ECTS (undergraduate level)
Drawing on theories from Nordic researchers on intercultural communication and cross-cultural management, the basic concepts with examples from the Nordic cultures, and with a special attention to business practices, will be discussed.
ELE427 Social Entrepreneurship, 6 ECTS (graduate level)
This course is designed to provide a socially relevant academic experience in order to help students gain in-depth insights into economic and social value creation across a number of sectors/areas, including poverty alleviation, energy, health, and sustainability.
· ELE428 Natural resource management and policy: The Norwegian model, 6 ECTS (graduate level)
Learn how to manage natural resources from experts in the field. The programme has been developed and organised by NHH faculty in partnership with a range of companies active in the industries examined in the course. Company visits and case studies form a major part of the course schedule.
All three courses run parallel from June 19 -30. The application deadline is March 15.
More detailed information on the course content and practicalities such as application procedures, housing, costs etc. can be found on this website: https://www.nhh.no/en/study-programmes/summer-school/.
The summer courses are exclusively open to students from NHH partner universities and completely free of charge. If you wish to nominate students, please get in touch with us and inform us about how many students you wish to nominate and for which of the courses. We also need to discuss how students attending the summer course(s) at NHH can be counted towards the student mobility balance agreed upon in our exchange agreement.
If you have any questions or concerns, please let me know and I will be happy to assist you.
