Current Opportunities for June 2017

Through AHA's internship program, students spend up to 12 months on a J-1 intern visa at the world's top tourism and management companies such as Marriott, Four Seasons, Hilton, Sheraton, Ritz Carlton, and other luxury designation resorts, hotels and country clubs. Interns are paid an hourly wage and work a minimum of 32 hours per week, specializing in one department  - culinary, food and beverage or front office. Each intern rotates through 4 phases of training within a department; including orientation and advanced training. Each student will receive a midterm and final evaluation on performance, and monthly check-in’s with AHA. Participants are also assigned an AHA mentor to be their guide through their internship.

AHA prides itself on world-class service, transparency, high-quality placements, and personal assistance to your students throughout the entire internship process. Services include:

-Orientation to formally educate and prepare your students for the J-1 program.

-An AHA Mentor to guide and support participants before, during, and after their program on a consistent and personal basis.

-Enrollment into AHA's Online Educational and Cultural Exchange Community, World Campus. Through World Campus, your students will have access to professional development seminars, industry forums, as well as the opportunity to connect with other participants from around the world to share their culture and participate in exchange activities. World Campus adds an advanced element of structure, learning, and cultural exchange to the participants daily training received on property. Participants are also able to earn AHA’s Hospitality Professional Certificate.

Please look over these great opportunities and share them with your students and alumni. All interested students can apply directly through the AHA website: americanhospitalityacademy.com/apply.php
